Report on the Issues and Impacts of Water Scarcity in your country – for World Water Day 22 March 2007

With changes in climate and weather patterns, and an increasing world population, many people still do not have access to adequate quality water resulting in poor sanitation, poor health and diseases. Polluted water leads to degraded ecosystems and increasingly disputes between countries have a focus on water access. The facts are not encouraging http://www.un.org/waterforlifedecade/factsheet.html from the UN’s International Decade for Action, Water for Life 2005-2015.  

What are the Issues and Impacts of Water Scarcity in your country? Write your own report with a focus on either Issues or on Impacts.
