Physics Across the World Poster Competition Results!
A big thank you to all those students and their teachers who entered our Science Across the World competition to mark Einstein Year and the World Year of Physics 2005.
We had an overwhelming response, many of very high quality, with nearly 2000 entries from 34 different worldwide countries ranging from Algeria, Croatia, Iran, Mexico, Romania, Singapore, UK to the USA. Winners were selected by members of the European Physical Society’s Executive Committee at their General Meeting in Bern, Switzerland. All shortlisted posters were on display in the exhibition hall throughout the conference.
Below are the winners and runners up in both age categories 8 – 12 and 13 – 16 years.
